It's Monday and you all know what that means!

Books I'm Listening to/Reading

The Girls by Emma Cline

I Wear the Black Hat by Chuck Klosterman

Article of the Week

How to Build a Core of Steel - Everyone knows that core strength is an absolute necessity for triathletes. We've all got core exercises that we hate and ones that we swear are the best. This is a great article about which ones truly are the most effective in building a strong, powerful core. A must read.

Words that Caught My Eye

“I wanted a perfect ending. Now I’ve learned, the hard way, that some poems don’t rhyme, and some stories don’t have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what’s going to happen next. Delicious Ambiguity.” ― Gilda Radner

Gear that is Cool

What I really wanted to highlight was The Heated Roller by Moji, due out in 2017. However, information proved elusive so for now I'll keep that in the back pocket. The search did lead me to some pretty cool products from Moji that might definitely be worth a try. Like the Moji Curve Pro. Lightweight, packable and offering a 360-massage angle, this hand held massage tool could provide inexpensive, relief needed by after those tough training sessions week after week.

Stretches of the Week

We often, well at least I often ignore my neck when I stretch. This is stupid. Don't be like me. The neck is incredibly important and should be carefully cared for. Here is a full neck routine to help avoid any potential neck issues.

Happy Training!
